Has anyone tried running GMS2 under ReactOS yet? It's supposed to be at least somewhat compatible with Windows. https://www.reactos.org/

I only just heard of ReactOS, so I haven't tried it myself.

ReactOS doesn't support .NET from what I remember, so for sure it will fail.
I believe Microsoft Office requires.NET and from what I recall ReactOS hard a screenshot of it running Microsoft Office, so some .NET compatibility may be present

EDIT: Plus, Microsoft has released .NET Core for Windows, Linux and MacOS, so ReactOS may be able to take advantage of that as well (never used it, so can't be sure)

Yeah, but it's office 2007. It wasn't using .net.
Didn't notice it was 2007, just glanced through the screenshots

Be surprised if ReactOS even supports DirectX 11.

The concept of ReactOS is nice, but its development cycle has been extremely slow. Can't say I've seen anything significant happen with it in many years.
Too bad, if it did have frequent development and maintenance cycles it would be a system I'd like to give a go at.
